Pressure Testing and Leak Detection Machines

We design and manufacture machines and test stations for pressure testing and leak detection for industrial production. Each solution is tailored to the specific part, manufacturing process, and customer requirements, from laboratory testing to fully automated high-volume production.

What Is a Pressure Test

A pressure test is used to verify the tightness of a part’s sealed internal volume. The test volume is sealed, pressurized, and then monitored over time after isolation.

Pressure Test Principle

  • Seal the part using a fixture
  • Pressurize to a defined pressure level
  • Close the volume and isolate it from the pressure source
  • Dwell time with measurement
  • Evaluate pressure drop, flow rate, or perform visual inspection in a water bath

Leak Tightness Measurement Methods

We provide the following types of pressure tests:

  • Water bath test
    Visual detection of escaping bubbles. The only method that enables precise leak location.
  • Pressure decay measurement
    Automatic evaluation using a pressure sensor and PLC.
  • Leak detection (e.g., ATEQ)
    High-sensitivity measurement of volume change and flow in the tested part..
